Assessments & examinations
The purpose of assessments is a part and parcel of academic planning. Assessments and giving feedback form an important aspect of teaching and learning. At Excellencia we believe that assessments are not only diagnostic but also enable the teachers to do course correction. Hence, we have a robust assessment pattern.
All students from Grades 6-12 go through weekly examinations on Monday and Friday. Students write CBSE exams in the syllabus taught in the week every Monday and on Friday they are assessed in the Foundation and NTSE syllabus. The scores of the students are shared with parents within 48 hours.
Apart from these as per the CBSE formative assessment pattern the school conducts two Monthly assessments in term -1 and Term-2 followed by SA-1 and SA-2 examinations.
